Owl Creek Ranch | Gaitesville, TX

This fall begins the construction of a new LEED (Leadership in Environmental and Design) ranch home located on the crest of a hill overlooking a grand view of the central Texas countryside.  This environmentally sensitive stone building will sit beneath the sheltering tent of a gentle curved reflective roof.   Reflecting the lifestyle and interests of its owners, it will be a fully off-grid, self -sustaining home that incorporates many passive and active design strategies and harvests usable materials from the surrounding site.
